    Not to happy

    I haul steel for a trucking company. The steel I work around can get heavy and sharp. I use Carolina boots for Most of my jobs. These were the first pair to fail on me. Now my feet slid across a lot of steel when I’m loading and unloading. The first day I brought these boots on the job, I barley touched a peace of steel with them and they ripped open. Luckily the boot did its job protecting my feet. But I have hit steel harder with soft toe boots and nothing happened. Kinda disappointed in these boots because I expected better. Not the most comfortable boots either. Break in process was fast. A bout a week or so. But my Carolina loggers are way more comfortable. To be honest. I really don’t recommend this boot. Maybe for a really light job. But not if your feet are around sharp and heavy objects. I got lucky with one. That’s why I gave it the 3 stars.
